About the product:
Every macro step on the Forte BG is split into 26 micro steps, and that fine control is what makes it shine on a brew bar. The 54mm steel flat burrs are precision-milled in Europe. Baratza chose them for balanced cups with a high clarity of flavor.
We like the BG for people who brew filter coffee every day and want tomorrow's cup to taste like today's. It can grind fine enough for espresso, but its character leans toward clean, bright filter coffee. If you drink mostly espresso, the Forte AP shares this body with ceramic burrs and a PortaHolder.
How to use:
Set the grind with the macro lever on the right, then fine tune it with the micro lever on the left. Keep the motor running whenever you move the levers with coffee inside.
Choose weight mode or time mode on the touch screen and press one of the three presets. The grinder stops on its own when it reaches the target.
Close the bean shut-off before lifting the hopper. You can switch coffees without tipping the grinder over.
