Italian Espresso Machines for Home Baristas and Cafés

Choosing an espresso machine means choosing how much control you want over the shot. We carry Italian espresso machines from Rocket Espresso, Lelit, Rancilio and Nuova Simonelli, plus the 9Barista stovetop machine from the UK. Every model is picked for temperature stability, build quality and shot-to-shot consistency, from a first serious home machine to equipment for a small café. We have been an authorized dealer since 1997 and ship across the United States.

What Is an E61 Group?

The E61 group head was introduced by Faema in 1961 and is still the most common group on prosumer machines. Hot water circulates from the boiler through the heavy chrome-plated brass group, which keeps it at temperature, and a mechanical pre-infusion chamber wets the coffee puck gently before full pressure. Because so many machines share it, gaskets, shower screens and upgrades such as flow control kits are easy to find. Rocket and Lelit build most of their home range around it.

Which Espresso Machine Is Right for You?

  • Your first serious machine: a single boiler such as the Lelit Victoria, with PID temperature control, or the classic Rancilio Silvia teaches you real espresso technique.
  • You drink mostly lattes and cappuccinos: a heat exchanger like the Rocket Appartamento or the Lelit Mara X lets you brew and steam without waiting.
  • You want control over every variable: a dual boiler like the Lelit Bianca V3, with flow control on the group, or the Rocket R58 Cinquantotto.
  • You are opening a café or coffee corner: see our commercial espresso machines from Rancilio, Nuova Simonelli and Rocket.
  • No power outlet, or you travel: the 9Barista brews espresso on a stovetop, with no pump and no electricity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a separate grinder?

Almost always. Only the Lelit Anita has a grinder built in; for every other machine you need a separate one, and the grinder matters as much as the machine for espresso. See our espresso grinders.

Do these machines run on US power?

US outlets supply 110-120V. Check the voltage shown on each product page before ordering, and contact us if it is not clear.

Heat exchanger or dual boiler for milk drinks?

Both brew and steam at the same time. A dual boiler gives you a set, stable brew temperature; a heat exchanger costs less but may need a short cooling flush before the shot.

Not sure which machine fits your kitchen and your budget?
