About the product:

Three buttons on the Vario W+ come set to 15g, 30g and 60g, and the grinder stops by itself when the scale reaches that number. That is the point of this grinder: dosing by weight, to a tenth of a gram, without a separate scale on the counter. The 54mm steel flat burrs are precision-milled in Europe for balanced cups with high clarity of flavor.

We like the white version for a bright kitchen where the grinder stays on show. Inside, it is the same machine as the black one. For pour over, Chemex or AeroPress it is one of the most practical grinders we know, because the dose is done before you pick up the kettle.

How to use:

Set the grind with the macro lever, then refine it with the micro lever while the motor runs.

Place the grounds bin on the scale platform, choose a preset and press START/STOP. The motor stops at the target weight.

To change a preset, adjust the weight with the arrows and hold the preset button for 3 seconds.

A: It can reach espresso fineness. The manual suggests 1Q as a starting point and notes that espresso may need a finer calibration, which you can do with the included tool.
