About the product:
The Sette 270Wi offers 270 grind settings: 31 macro steps, each refined by a stepless micro ring with nine indicators. That range is built for espresso, where a small turn changes the cup. The 40mm steel conical burrs are made in Liechtenstein, and the adjustment connects directly to the cone burr for an immediate response.
We think the 270Wi makes the most sense next to an espresso machine you use every day. You grind into the portafilter with no scale to place and no grounds to scoop off. The convertible arms also hold the grounds bin or a brewer, and Baratza designed the Sette for up to 2 lb (1kg) of coffee a day.
How to use:
Start with the micro ring at E, then turn the macro ring close to the grind you need and fine tune while the motor runs.
Hang the portafilter on the arms and hook, press a preset and then START. The display counts up to the target weight.
If a dose stops just short of the target, press START again for a short burst to top it off.

FAQs:
Q: What is the smallest dose I can program?
A: 5g. Below that the grinder is too fast to stay accurate, so the software does not allow it.
Q: Can I single dose with the 270Wi?
A: Baratza advises against it. The software needs two or more doses in the hopper to stop at the right weight.
Q: Do I need to calibrate the scale?
A: No. Calibration is optional and uses a 500g weight that is not included. The grinder doses consistently without it.
