100% Arabica single-origin coffee, grown on the highlands of southeastern India (Western Ghats), more precisely in the Mysore area, Karnataka state.
Primo Guardiano reflects the artisanal spirit and precision that define Giamaica Caffè.
In the cup, it offers a full and creamy body, with an aromatic profile that is sweet, clean, and perfectly balanced.
Why “Primo Guardiano”?
The name pays tribute to Bababudan, the legendary pilgrim who, in the 17th century, secretly carried seven coffee beans in his backpack. Upon arriving in the Mysore region, he was the first to cultivate them in these fertile lands, thus becoming the “first guardian” (“Primo Guardiano” in Italian) of Indian coffee.
The Peaberry bean.
This coffee is even more special because it is made entirely of Peaberry beans: a natural anomaly where, instead of the typical two seeds, the coffee cherry produces a single, round, and compact bean. Denser and more aromatic, Peaberry is often associated with a greater concentration of flavor and a cleaner, brighter cup.
