Espresso Machines With E61 Group

E61 Group Espresso Machines

The E61 group head, introduced by Faema in 1961, is the heart of most prosumer espresso machines. Hot water circulates from the boiler through the heavy brass group to keep it at temperature, and a mechanical pre-infusion chamber wets the coffee before full pressure. The result is stable, forgiving extraction, and a group that any technician knows how to service.

Because the E61 is a shared standard, gaskets, shower screens and upgrades such as flow control kits are easy to find. Our E61 machines come from Rocket Espresso, including the Appartamento, Giotto, Mozzafiato and R58 Cinquantotto, and from Lelit, with the Mara X, Mara X3 and Bianca V3.
