PROFITEC DRIVE: the home machine with professional performance
Drive is the most recent entry in the Profitec household and the evolution of the already highly appreciated Pro 700.
Compared to the previous model, there are several new features that are added to get a machine with even superior performance.
Let's look at the main new features in detail.
FAST HEAT-UP MODE
The Fast Heat-Up mode makes your machine running faster and start brewing coffee in just a few minutes.
FLOW CONTROL
The E61 group is still there but with the addition of a valve placed on top to control the water flow and thus have perfect management of the brewing process.
OLED DISPLAY

The new design includes a more modern and stylish micro LED with two round buttons from which you can manage different settings and customize your Profitec DRIVE. Settings include PID control for individual temperature adjustment of both boilers (2-liter boiler for steam and hot water and 0.75-liter boiler for coffee brewing, both stainless steel). Then there is the programmable ECO mode for scheduling on and off times, active and passive pre-infusion modes, or even setting a reminder for brew group cleaning or for filter change. The display also indicates the brewing time in seconds.
DESIGN
As with the previous Profitec 600 and 700 in the Pro range, DRIVE is constructed from steel and finished in chrome with a modern design. The new touch is provided by the two joystick valves, one for water and one for the steam wand. In addition, the drip tray is larger with a 1.0-liter capacity, and the grid for cups is separate for easy lifting and more comfortable access to the tank. The PROFITEC logo reigns on the back.
WATER CONNECTION
The machine offers the flexibility to switch from a 2.8-liter tank to a fixed water connection, with automatic shut-off when machine reaches low water volume.
Added to these features is the rotary-type pump like previous models, which makes Profitec Drive a home espresso machine equipped with commercial features in all respects.
Starting from today you can order Drive on our website.
